External and Visiting Groups

Our church building is host to a variety of outside groups, societies and organisations and some of these are listed below.

It should be noted that these organisations operate independently of Quinton Methodist Church and enquiries should be made to the organisation or group directly.

The extensive church buildings include a large hall with stage and several classrooms. Should you wish to hire a room for your group you will find more information here.

Weight Watchers

Wednesday morning at 9.00am & Thursday afternoon at 5.30pm

The well-known Weight Watchers organisation provides programmes for weight loss and wellness, healthy eating pattern guidance, for those who wish to lose weight or just maintain.

U3A (University of the Third Age)

U3A is a movement of mainly retired and semi-retired people who come together to continue their educational, social and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment. There are no exams and no homework, just regular lessons or study groups.

Quinton Local History Society

1st Tuesday evening of each month at 8pm

A vibrant historical society of over 200 members which meets regularly to hear guest speakers and operates a comprehensive programme of events.

Art Group

Thursday 9.45am & 1.30pm, Friday 9.30am & 1pm

A well-established art group open to everyone from complete beginners to experienced artists. The sessions are run by renowned local artist Dj who provides individual guidance and tuition with personal art projects and tutor-led class workshops and demonstrations.

Monday afternoon at 1.30pm

Old time and modern sequence dancing for people over fifty operated by Birmingham Retirement Council, a registered charity, better-known as Fircone Birmingham.
