Activities at our Church
Church is more than just Sunday Services! In addition to a wide variety of worship there are activities for all ages with the Church home to numerous youth, community, special interest and fellowship groups that see our building busy most days of the week.
Although we have a busy building in the physical sense, our mission is also to connect with the larger community in our area. We call this initiative Church Without Walls.
Quinton Methodist Church is also part of the expanding network of Places of Welcome. Our weekly coffee morning is open to any and all who care to drop in for conversation over a cup of coffee or tea. It is also an ideal way to discover all that we have to offer in worship and fellowship at Quinton Methodist Church.
Young people are well-catered for with a comprehensive range of activities from pre-school age to teenage years. These mostly operate during school termtime though there are some programmes and events designed specifically for the school holidays. Quinton Methodist Church is also home to the well-established 40th Birmingham Girls’ Brigade and 59th Birmingham Boys’ Brigade.
All activities for young people are operated and supervised by experienced leaders and helpers with appropriate qualifications and DBS certification. Quinton Methodist Church has a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy in place.

From lively discussion forums to country rambles, or just the simple pleasure of meeting socially with others for coffee, our regular activities progamme provides plenty of Christian fellowship and much to enjoy.

Our building is also used by a variety of external groups including art, dance and local history groups, and organisations including The University of the Third Age and Weight Watchers.
Whilst some of our Church members participate in these activities it should be noted that these organisations operate independently of Quinton Methodist Church.
